Terms and Conditions The following applies to all group and tailor-made trips:

1. Registration

1.1 Registration takes place by sending a fully completed registration form for group trips or tailor-made trips.
1.2 Registration is confirmed by a confirmation / invoice.
1.3 Registration only becomes definitive in the case of a group trip or customized trip after payment of the travel sum on the invoice.
1.4 If you book a trip with family or friends, it is advisable to make the booking in one go. The request will then be treated as one booking, which can be an advantage in the event of any subsequent changes or cancellations.

2. Travel sum

2.1 The travel sum for the trip is the amount stated on the invoice. The travel information states what is included and what is not.

3. Price changes

3.1 Due to changing exchange rates, surcharges, taxes and other external causes, the travel sum or price may differ from the travel information.
3.2 For bookings within 2 weeks before the departure date, additional costs may be charged.

4. Payment

4.1 STO Garant Guarantee Scheme
In order to meet its statutory obligation to provide a guarantee, NatuurGeweldig makes use of the guarantee scheme provided by STO Garant. You can check that this is the case by visiting STO Garant’s website and verifying that the organisation is listed as a participant (www.sto[1]garant.nl/en/members). You can find all information relating to STO Garant at www.sto[1]garant.nl/en. Whether STO Garant's guarantee applies to a particular (travel) offer made by NatuurGeweldig is clearly stated for that offer. The Guarantee Scheme specifies what the guarantee covers and which conditions apply. You can find the Guarantee Scheme on STO Garant's website (www.sto[1]garant.nl/en/downloads). If STO Garant's guarantee applies to your booking, you do not pay the booking sum to NatuurGeweldig but instead into the escrow account belonging to Stichting Derdengelden Certo Escrow, a payment services provider registered with De Nederlandsche Bank (DNB) and the Dutch Authority for the Financial Markets (AFM). This trust account holds your payment in reserve until the trip booked has come to an end. If services are not supplied (in full and/or on time) due to the financial insolvency of NatuurGeweldig, STO Garant implements the guarantee. The Guarantee Scheme details how you can make a claim under the guarantee in such cases.

4.2 The travel sum must be paid within 10 working days after receipt of the confirmation / invoice.
4.3 The travel sum must be paid no later than 21 days before the departure date.

5. Cancellation

5.1 In case of cancellation up to 56 days before the departure date, 30% of the travel sum is due.
5.2 In case of cancellation between 56 and 28 days before the departure date, 50% of the travel sum is due.
5.3 In case of cancellation between 28 and 14 days before the departure date, 75% of the travel sum is due.
5.4 In case of cancellation 14 days before departure, the full travel sum is due.
5.5 If, after the final registration, you still have additional wishes that change the existing travel request or travel agreement, then € 50 change costs per booking will be charged, in addition to any cancellation costs and other costs arising from the change.
5.6 Costs incurred, after final booking, by NatuurGeweldig that cannot be canceled will be charged.

6. Liability

6.1 Participation takes place at your own risk.
6.2 Participants must be aware of the risks of the tour or walk.
6.3 Directions and instructions from NatuurGeweldig must always be followed. Failure to comply may result in exclusion from the tour without entitlement to any financial compensation or refund.
6.4 NatuurGeweldig is, barring negligence, not liable for damage or injury sustained during a hike or tour.
6.5 Damage to rented or used equipment is at the expense of the participant.
6.6 You are responsible for transport to the first accommodation and / or the agreed meeting point. NatuurGeweldig cannot be held liable for any additional costs that you have to incur in the event of flight schedule changes, delays and / or cancellations.

7. Unforeseen circumstances

7.1 With a NatuurGeweldig trip, you choose an adventurous trip and therefore also a certain risk. If we have to resort to alternatives, you can rest assured that we will do our utmost to maintain the quality of the trip as much as possible.
7.2 The travel program can be adjusted by NatuurGeweldig if circumstances give cause to do so, such as extraordinary weather conditions, physical or psychological problems of participants / guide, equipment breakdown and other unforeseen factors.
7.3 Adjustment of the program takes place at the discretion of NatuurGeweldig.
7.4 Adjustment does not give right to any financial compensation or refund.

8. Insurance

8.1 Participants are required to purchase travel insurance that covers medical expenses and the costs of search and rescue. This insurance is not included in the travel sum.
8.2 Taking out cancellation insurance is not mandatory, but recommended.

9. Deviations

9.1 Deviations from these general terms and conditions by NatuurGeweldig will only be established in writing.
